Size and care
Every product page has its own size table with real garment measurements. Here is how to read it, and how to look after what you buy.
Our fits
Classic, or slightly relaxed. Tailored enough to wear under a blazer, never oversized. If you usually wear a size in brands like Polo Ralph Lauren or Sunspel, start with the same size and check the table.
How to measure
The easiest way is to measure a piece you already own and like, laid flat:
- Chest width: straight across, from armpit to armpit.
- Length: from the highest point of the shoulder, next to the collar, down to the hem.
- Sleeve: from the shoulder seam to the end of the sleeve.
- Head: for hats, run a tape around your head just above the ears and eyebrows.
Compare your numbers with the table on the product page. Allow 2 to 3 cm either way. Between sizes, choose the smaller one for a trimmer fit or the larger one for more room.
Care
The care label and the product page are the final word for each piece. In general:
- Wash cold, inside out, with similar colours.
- Use a mild detergent and skip bleach and fabric softener.
- Dry flat or hang to dry. Knitwear should always dry flat.
- Iron inside out on a low setting, and never iron directly over the embroidered emblem.
- Fold knitwear rather than hanging it, so it keeps its shape.
Cotton piqué and jersey soften with washing. A little shrinkage on the first wash is normal for cotton, which is why washing cold matters.
