The first collection takes its name from the gulf every island ferry from Piraeus crosses first. Piqué polos, a midweight tee and a crewneck, each with the same small crest at the left chest.

Classic fits that sit under a blazer on a Tuesday and hold up on the boat on a Saturday.

Our story

Named for the creature that followed our ferry.

Our founder grew up crossing Greek waters by ferry. Dolphins raced the bow on most crossings then. He has not seen it happen in years.

The Mediterranean subpopulation of the common dolphin (Delphinus delphis) has been listed as Endangered by the IUCN since 2003. The dolphin is our mark. The whole sea is our concern.

Field notes

For the marine life of the Aegean and the Ionian.

The dolphin is one story, honestly told. The sea it lives in holds many more.

I

Common dolphin

(Delphinus delphis)

The species behind our name. Its Mediterranean subpopulation has been listed as Endangered since 2003.

II

Loggerhead sea turtle

(Caretta caretta)

Nests on Ionian beaches every summer, most famously in the bay of Laganas on Zakynthos.

III

Mediterranean monk seal

(Monachus monachus)

One of the rarest seals in the world. Greek waters hold a large share of those that remain.

IV

Neptune grass

(Posidonia oceanica)

Not an animal, but the seagrass meadow that shelters much of the life above it.

How we make things

The plain facts, including the unflattering ones.

Who makes it

Printful, our production partner, makes every piece after you order it.

Where

Orders in Europe are embroidered or printed in Latvia or Spain. Each product page names the country the blank garment comes from.

Materials

Where a garment uses certified organic cotton, we say what the certificate covers and what it doesn't.

Packaging

We describe exactly what arrives at your door, including the parts we would like to change.

Field notes

A short letter a few times a season. New pieces, news from the sea, and nothing you didn't ask for.
