Our story
Named for the creature that followed our ferry.
And for a sea that is losing more than one of its own.

Our founder grew up crossing Greek waters by ferry, from Piraeus to the islands and back again, summer after summer. On most crossings, dolphins would find the boat and race the bow for a while before peeling away. Nobody on deck thought it was unusual.
He has not seen it happen in years.
That is not only nostalgia. The Mediterranean subpopulation of the common dolphin (Delphinus delphis) has been listed as Endangered by the IUCN since 2003, after a decline of around half over three generations. The main causes are overfishing of the fish it feeds on and accidental capture in fishing gear. In the Gulf of Corinth, a small isolated group is now at serious risk of disappearing altogether.
Why a saint
The "St." and the halo are an old device: a creature made sacred as it becomes scarce. A patron saint for a sea that is quietly losing the life it once held in abundance. It is not religious branding. It is a way of saying that something ordinary has become precious.
The dolphin is our mark because it is our founder's memory. Our concern is wider: loggerhead sea turtles, Mediterranean monk seals, seabirds, and the Neptune grass meadows that shelter so much of the life above them.
What we make
Everyday clothing with one small emblem at the left chest: piqué polos, oxford shirts, crewnecks and quarter-zips, and a few well-made tees. Classic fits that sit under a blazer during the week and hold up on the boat at the weekend.
No slogans, no large prints, no new graphic every season. One emblem, used the same way every time.
Every piece is made to order by our production partner. We tell you exactly how on How we make things.
