Accessibility

We want everyone to be able to browse and buy from this shop.

Last updated: 29 September 2026

What we aim for

We design and test the site against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA, the standard referred to by the European Accessibility Act.

• Text and buttons have strong colour contrast.
• Everything works with a keyboard, and focus is always visible.
• The moving background on the home page has a pause button and stops automatically if your device asks for reduced motion.
• Images have text descriptions, and forms have clear labels and error messages.
• Pages work when zoomed to 200% and on small screens.

Known limitations

Some parts of the checkout and payment pages are provided by WooCommerce and our payment provider. We check them, but we cannot change all of their behaviour.
